In this Year End Special, We bring you Top 10 Trends of 2020. Every year comes with its new trends, sometimes it’s dubsmash or pokemon go, but this year the trend has been limited mostly to home due to the lockdowns. Here are a few things which were in talks in 2020.

1. Dalgona Coffee
This coffee was a social media sensation for quite some time this year. Dalgona coffee had a lot of quarantined people working patiently in their kitchens. Although this coffee was simple to make and without any fancy ingredients, It was nothing less than a coffee you would get at a high end cafe. Have you tried making the Dalgona coffee yet?

2. Ludo
A simple game played by children took a grand digital U-Turn this summer. When people of all ages were busy playing e-Ludo at home with their buddies. It was an awesome way to bond with friends you couldn’t personally meet.

3. Among Us
As soon as PUB-G was banned, Among Us refilled the vacant place, and engaged people in finding the imposter among them. This like e-Ludo was also an uncommon bonding experience for people especially some youngsters who do not play games regularly.
4. The Emoji Challenge
Many national and international celebrities were spotted posting their emoji challenge videos online. There were many forms of this challenge; amongst them was hand gesture challenge too. In this you have to mimic the expression of all the emojis displayed on the screen, shoot a video and post it.
5. The Mask
Well everyone is stuck with a mask on their face at least for the near future. There were some fashionable and innovative masks in the market. Also some people made their own version of DIY masks which were trending for sometime. Here are some tips to wear a face mask.

There has been a mixed opinion of people on quarantine since the beginning. But the highlight was the Quarantine memes that still dominate the internet. These hilarious and comical depictions of our seemingly house arrest, had us all laughing and forwarding it on all possible social media groups.
7. E-Learning
It was more of a necessity than a trend but it has really opened a new dimension of learning. Students from all over the world had themselves sitting in front of Laptops, Computers, I-pads or phones to attend online lectures for at least 4-5 hours daily. Plus technical issues were a great excuse to bunk lectures. Did you bunk your lecture pretending to have bad internet?
8. Face-Time Apps
Zoom, G-meet, Skype have become a trend. Almost everyone is using at least one of these apps. Either for education, Work or just have a chat with distant friends and family. These online platforms have been a constant part of everyone’s life for the past few months.

9. Hidden Talent challenge
Not as much popular as any other challenge but this pandemic many people tried to discover their hidden talents by taking up this challenge and posting online. Some people even practiced their hobbies and went online to showcase them. What hidden talent did you discover this quarantine?
