E-learning Challenges, Advantages and its Future.
From the past two decades internet has greatly influenced the world at large. Almost every aspects of life has taken an e-turn in the age of internet. But the only sector that left the stones unturned was education.

Many professional Universities all over the world were offering distant education even before the rise of the pandemic. Previously distant education was persuade only by students who couldn’t attend classes physically due to some reason. Online learning wasn’t much popular back then, even though its existence couldn’t be denied.
The year 2020 has seen a lot of ups and downs. But if there is one thing that changed for the better, is the drastic change in the educational field. The Pandemic has proved online learning to be an acceptable option to classroom education.

To follow the norms of Social-distancing to stay safe from the virus, educational institutes were forced to adopt the option of online teaching. The early months of 2020 was when the learning revolution really begun. Students and teachers globally were sitting in front of screens and trying to participate in their regular lectures. It was definitely not an easy task for lecturers who were accustomed to teaching a huge crowd of students, to sit in front of a screen and teach. Neither was it convenient for students to gawk at the screen, for hours at end.
These were the major hurdles in the path of online education.
- Inexperienced education system.
- Lack of proper infrastructure.
- Technical problems faced by the faculty and students.
- Hardly or no access to study material.
- Depression and anxiety caused by very limited human interaction.

Despite of so many challenges the E-Learning experience quickly turned to be a phenomenal one. It opened doors to a broader perspective of learning. Also many more Universities and educational institutes, have opened-up by providing a large number of degree and certificate courses online. It enables a student siting in one part of the world, to access education from another part of the world.
Here are some great advantages of online education.
