World Tuberculosis Day 2021 THE CLOCK IS TICKING

Tuberculosis(TB) is a disease caused by the bacteria named Mycobacterium-tuberculosis this disease affects mostly on lungs of a human body.

Tuberculosis day is always celebrated in this day on 24th march as the reason behind this was it is discovered by Dr.Robert Koch on 24th march 1882 this showed the way to further diagnose this disease.

The theme for TB 2021 is ‘The Clock is Ticking’, This tells that world is running out of time in curing TB due to Covid19 pandemic.

This year is celebrated to create awareness about the global epidemic of Tuberculosis.

During this epidemic over 10 million people fell ill and 1.5 million people died from this disease around the world.

World TB day is one of the eleventh official global public health campaigns spotted by WHO.

About 4000 people lost their lives and around 28000 people fall ill in a day with this disease.

Each individual can participate to help curing TB disease by raising funds, join TB campaigns, helping TB patients and more.

President Ram Nath Kovind talked about world TB day even Appreciate the National TB Elimination Program on their achievements in such difficult circumstances.

We can reduce the spread of TB by making people aware about the disease with the help of various digital platforms, like social media, messages, news and etc.
