Have you ever visited a theme park which is dedicated to the toilet, how magnificent isn’t it?
I would highly suggest who has a passion for remarkable tourist places. The park was opened on the 4th of July 2014. The toilet theme park which is also known as haewoojae (Mr.toilet house) is situated in Suwon city, south Korea. The owner of the park was a mayor of Suwon city and a philanthropist,
Mr. sim Jae-duck also known as Mr. Toilet who was prominent for encouraging South Korean public toilet culture, his main objective was to promote sanitization and he was the founder of WTA ( world Toilet Association). He was born in his grandparent’s toilet for real. He reshaped his entire house into the ‘the enormous toilet’.
It costs about 1.6 million dollars. After Mr. Sims’ demise, the building was donated to Suwon city and redeveloped it into a museum as a tribute to his accomplishments. The museum has 2 floors which exhibit the significance of toilets for a healthy society. The museum is surrounded by toilet-related statues and sculptures which includes a giant pile of poop, painted statues of shitting, and has also parklands and flower gardens which is quite tempting and magnificent.
The park unlocks from 10 am to 6 pm every day, and is closed Mondays. Access is free, though the museum approves offerings to proceed with its goal to expand toilet hygiene and knowledge.
If you happened to visit South Korea, a toilet theme park is one of the most famous tourist attractions spots and you should experience that. Everyone should visit that place once in their lifetime. It is funny right but it’s a fact that Korean tradition tells that a child born on the toilet will live a long-lasting and stress-free life!
