You can go by bus from Indore, there are many buses runs regularly for Pachmarhi.
Places to visit in Pachmarhi
Bee Falls is the vastly known, one that delivers drinking water to the whole town. The 35 meters dropping falls can be achieved through small trekking and is a popular picnic spot for the people.
Jata Shankar cave
The Jata Shankar Caves in Pachmarhi are deemed holy as they are popularly supposed to be the spot where Lord Shiva obscured himself from the animosity of Bhasmasur. The caves boast of a natural Shivalingam under the shadow of a massive rock and the stone formation in the cave closely resemble the mythological hundred-headed snake Seshnag. These caves are a must-visit for devotees.
Satpura dense Jungle

Reechgarh is a large cave protected within the crinkles of the hill of Pachmarhi, which gets its name from provincial mythology. The myth tells that once a big bear known as reech in Hindi used to live in this cave. The cave is decorated by nature itself with plants and greenery, and they gave great access to the wind
