How to go on a road trip:
You can either travel by your own vehicles or rent a car there. Bus facilities are also available to go for.
Ladakh is connected with Jammu by roads. Two paths are there through which you can reach Ladakh. One is the route of Srinagar to Ladakh by Zoji La Pass and the additional route is Manali to Ladakh by Rohtang Pass.
You can use the outside rented self-drive cars to reach Leh over Srinagar Leh Highway or Manali Leh Highway. However, these self-drive rented cars outside Leh Ladakh are not authorized to do any sightseeing within Ladakh including places like Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, and Tso Moriri.
You can take two ways if you are going on a bike trip, you can enter Ladakh via Manali or Srinagar. You can rent a bike as well.

Food facilities available in between paths small to large restaurants are there, serving different cuisine.
The best time to ride in Ladakh is in summer from April to June.
