29 September is celebrated as world heart day, it was founded in 2000 to inform people around the globe that heart disease and stroke are the world’s leading causes of death. Now, why do people suffer from heart problems? Because they don’t eat healthily.
People don’t give time to take care of their heart, and in their hectic day, they eat anything, oily, junkies, which ultimately makes their heart sick, weak, and generate some diseases.
Did You Know? World Heart Day was celebrated first in 1999 by the then president of WHF, Mr. Antoni Bayés de Luna. This day World Heart Federation collaborated with the World Health Organization.
The best way to keep your heart healthy is by eating healthy, being active on workouts. Heart-healthy eating, along with regular exercise or physical activity, can reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke.
A healthy heart is prominent to overall good health. Encompassing a healthy lifestyle at any age can stave off heart disease and lower your risk for a heart attack or stroke. Heart problems do not come as per the age, so better you should keep your heart fit from the initial age only.
This is how you can keep your heart healthy:
Stay at a healthy weight.
Quit smoking and stay away from secondhand smoke.
Stress management is needed
Avoid junkies and deep-fried dishes
Try to eat less sugar and salt
Control your cholesterol and blood pressure.
Drink alcohol only in moderation
Eat more of leafy vegetables and fruits.
