The threat of Covid-19 is all around us, that makes it a hot topic for all news channels and other media. The constant consumption of such information has a negative impact on the mind, leading to stress, fear and anxiety. To stay positive avoid COVID-19 news or any information related to it. There are a huge number of patients and casualties of this virus, but constantly keeping track of it will just cause depression. Also, follow guidelines provided by national health organizations and local authorities only. Beware of rumors and take all the required precautions.

The pandemic has led to the closure of gyms, swimming pools, parks and other fitness centres. But that doesn’t mean we neglect our fitness. There are a number of ways to be fit in four walls. Corona has put a temporary halt to the consumption of junk or restaurant made food. Looking at the bright side, we have started having home-cooked means, from time to time. These two habit we need to continue in the post-pandemic period too. Having timely meals and exercising regularly can improve our mental and physical health.

Be Connected.

Stay in touch with your near and dear once, your friends, colleagues, etc. via video call or chatting apps. Help the elderly in your neighbourhood with their needs. Catch up with your social circle. Try to celebrate special occasions with friends and family on video chats. Stay connected as much as you can. These things will give you a sense of belonging and fulfilment.

Interact with your family as much as possible.

Consider this as a golden opportunity to spend time with family. Spending too much time together may have some drawbacks too. So make your family time fun and interactive by playing board games, art, craft or any activity involving the whole family. This will help you spend quality time with your loved once. Engage children in learning something new apart from studies to replace their boredom with fun and excitement. This will help you have a happy lockdown.

Meditate and relax.

Our day-to-day hectic schedule hardly gives us time to relax and focus on ourselves. Meditation is the best way to grow spiritually and mentally. Follow guided meditation to calm your mind and remain stress-free in this difficult times. Cultivate this into a habit and see the result yourself!
