Controversy On Tandav Web Series
Amazon prime’s new web series Tandav is truly in hot water soup after BJP leaders Ram Kadam and Kapil Mishra raise the issue about the depiction of Hindu God Lord Shiva in the series. Several viewers have taken offense to a particular scene from the show which shows actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub playing the role of Lord Shiva.
The political drama web series features Saif Ali Khan, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Dimple Kapadia, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in the cast. The series is a story set in New Delhi that claims to take the viewers inside the closed chaotic doors of power and manipulation and uncover the darkest lanes of the Indian public.
The director Ali Abbas Zafar’s web series with the stared actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Saif Ali Khan has landed into controversy. the serial has been called anti-Hindu and also called criminal in nature. The Dalits have been severely insulted in this web series. There as several tweets trending on tweeter with hashtag #BanTandav now.
The other set of people believes in providing complete freedom to filmmakers. The questions have also been raised on Amazon prime for steaming such web series which hurt the sentiments of any religion. This is not the first series that has received such a response. But this series has really evoked considerable criticism on social media.
The actor Zeeshan Ayyub has mouthing certain low-level language in a particular scene which is quite objectionable. Censorship has been asked on the OTT platform. The filmmaker’s freedom comes with some sort of responsibility.
The BJP leader Kapil Mishra State’s that the web series should be banned instantly. The web series is a trap to spread violence, the Hindus and Muslims are intended to fight among themselves. The rally has also been headed to the police station in assistance with leader Ram Kadam and filled a complaint (PIL). Viewers are demanded to delete the app Amazon Prime which deliberately streams such hurting web series.
Controversy On Tandav Web Series Scenes
In the scene the Star Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub who is playing the character of Lord Shiva along with the character of Narang asking Lord Shiva told him that the followers of Lord Ram have been increasing a lot on social media. Zeeshan later says that what can he do, should he change his profile pic. Then there is the use of vulgar language from Lord Shiva’s character.
The Makers of this web series and the lead characters are Muslims which stems from the fact that this has been done intentionally to hurt the sentiments of Hindus and Dalits. Two different stories have been displayed in direct national politics and student politics both of these have been interconnected.
The name has been declared as VNU which can be indirectly related to JNU. The propaganda has been initiated to giggle about Hindu’s. The topics which have been portrayed are Kisan Andolan, Tukde Tukde Gang, Terrorism, and Hindu Muslim controversy. The direct politics story has been really appreciated by people.
Ban Tandav Now is trending a lot. Manoj Kotak said that due to freedom from the OTT platform maker has been repeatedly trying to hurt Hindus. JNU has been tried to glorify their own purpose. People have also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban the Tandav web series. Prakash Javedakar is requested to ban this web series as soon as possible. Sunil Grover has been appreciated for his wonderful performance and regarded as another katapa.
The actors have been advised to ask for forgiveness for displaying such content in their web series. The Hindus are expected to be tolerant but it does not mean to repeatedly humiliate the Hindus and Dalits. The people have outbursts of anger and are threatened to be within their limits. Tandav is considered as a dance form with Lord shiva does when he is angry and also performed by Lord Krishna on the head of Snake.

In earlier times, Akshay Kumar’s film Laxmi Bomb was complained to connect with Goddess Laxmi, and then the name was changed. The suitable boy was reported to show many objectable scenes in the temple. The web series Patal lok was objected to sadhu’s religious people along with the non-veg food.
In Movie Pk as well the complaint was regarding showing the fun of Hindu religion. There are many questions raised why only the Hindu religion is on target?…. Creative art and freedom can be displayed with other religions as well.
