Coronavirus Vaccine Prices In India and Other Countries Of The World.
COVID-19 Vaccines, developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca are approved by a panel, oriented by Central government this month. It would be used in emergency cases and panel will also send it’s recommendations to DCGI (Drugs Controller General of India) After it’s approval all the citizens of country would be vaccinated.
VG Somani, Drug controller general of India has also issued a statement making Indian citizens believe on the effectiveness and safety of the Vaccines. He claimed, “We’ll never approve anything if there is slightest of safety concern. The vaccines are 110 per cent safe. Some side effects like mild fever, pain and allergy are common for every vaccine.”
Well, dry run for vaccination is undergoing in all the 28 states and 9 Union Territories (UTs) of India. First round of dry run was conducted in the states of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, and Punjab last year on 28 to 29 December 2020 During the dry run session no major issue was observed hence all the states have shown confidence in the guidelines of COVID Vaccine operation. COVID-19 Vaccination process will start taking place from 16th of January, 2021.

After approval of Vaccine major concern of people, after safety issues were prices of Vaccines. During assembly poles in Bihar this year, BJP’s manifesto had claimed to provide free Vaccines to all the residents of Bihar. But citizens of other states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and south Indian states were still pondering over the cost of Vaccines and whether it would be provided to them too, at free costs by Central government?
Now clearing the air, Union Health Minister of India, Harsh Vardhan Rathore himself gave a statement that it would be free of cost for all the Indian citizens. In the first phase three crore ” most Prioritized beneficiaries” will be given the Vaccines. In which one crore health workers and Two crores frontline workers across the whole India would be vaccinated against virus. Cleared the doubt, he issuing a statement saying, ” Not just in Delhi, it will be free across the country”! He later added in his statement, ” Feedbacks received after the dry run in four states were included in guidelines for vaccination and today’s dry run in all states/UTs is being conducted as per new guidelines. Except for giving the actual vaccine, every procedure is being followed during the drill”.
He also appealed all the countrymen for not paying heed to any rumors regarding Vaccines. He said, “Different kinds of rumors were spread during polio immunization but people took the vaccine and India is now polio-free,”
Different state Governments of Telangana, Delhi and Tamil Nadu had already claimed to provide free Vaccines to all their residents even before central government made it free for all the Indians. Delhi Health Minister, Satyendra Jain also gave a statement saying, “Yes, medicines and treatment are being provided for free in Delhi, anyway”

Earlier according to BBC reports, cost of Modern Vaccines in USA were claimed to be 2,414.15 INR, Pfizer-Biotech for 1463.12 INR and Oxford University and AstraZeneca for 292.62 INR. But after sometime it was only termed as another rumor. And later it was claimed that irrespective of having a health insurance or not, all the US residents will get Vaccinated without charging any single penny. Well, cost of medical treatments of COVID-19 virus were charged from people. But Vaccines will be provided for free of cost. But for the children below 16 years of age and people with few elegies will not be given Vaccines.
Covid Vaccine Price In United Kingdom ( England)
Cost of Modern were claimed to be 2483.26 INR, Pfizer for 1489.96 INR and Oxford Vaccines were claimed to be for 297.99.It was alleged that, National Health Services would provide Vaccines to all the eligible residents of United kingdom. Later it was also termed as another rumor making a roll on Social Media. It is to be noted that Vaccines in USA and UK will be provided for free of cost regardless of having insurance policy or not.
Vaccine Price In Brazil
Jair Bolsonaro, President of Brazil himself has tweeted saying, that Vaccines will be provided for free to all the citizens of Brazil. In his tweet he wrote ” To all, free and not mandatory”!
Vaccine Price In Mexico
All the legal residents of Mexico country will be given vaccines without charging any penny. It would be free of cost and all the expenses will be taken care by Government of the country.
Vaccine Price In Norway
Norway government has also made a provision of providing free Vaccines to it’s legal residents. Oxford has committed to provide Vaccines on the non-profit basis. It has issued an official statement claiming, ” key element of Oxford’s partnership with AstraZeneca is the joint commitment to provide the vaccine on a not-for-profit basis for the duration of the pandemic across the world, and in perpetuity to low- and middle-income countries,”
So, countries like, India, USA, Britain, Norway and Brazil etc. have made a provision of providing free COVID Vaccines to all their legal residents. In India also, not only Bihar or Delhi residents will get free vaccination but also all the citizens of country will be vaccinated against COVID-19 virus without charging any single penny.
