1) In 2nd Phase who can register for the Vaccine?
All the citizens who are above 60 years and those who are above 45 with Co-morbidities listed by the ministry of health can register using the wCO-WIN 2.0 Portal from 1st of march 2021.
2) Can we visit directly to the Vaccine Center?
Yes, Walk In Provisions are also provided for the people to get them registered at the centers.
3) What about those who cannot register on Portal?
In such scenarios, the people who are not technology friendly can opt for walk in registration by visiting the centers and take the help of volunteers for get themselves registered.
4) Is the Vaccine free?
Yes, Vaccination is free of charge only at the government health centers. You can visit the facilities and get your self vaccinated after getting registered.
5) Is it true that one has to pay Rs250 for vaccination?
Yes, This is also true. But this is at all private hospitals. The government of India has capped a fixed charges of Rs 150 for vaccine and service charges at Rs 100. So this makes Rs 250 for vaccination. No other charges are applicable.
6) How to choose between Government and Private centers?
The new CO-WIN 2.0 Portal is GPS enabled which will provide you the option to search the location and choose the centre for vaccination at the government or private health centres.

7) How to book appointments on the portal?
In CoWIN portal, users will be provided the option to select the centers which are declared by the states and union territories. This will include location, date of appointment based on the open slots and availability of vaccines at the time of booking.
8) Is there any proof to be shown age groups of more than 45years?
Yes, People above 45 years who wish to opt for vaccinations need to upload the medical certificate provided by their authorized Medical representative mentioning the comorbid conditions.
9) What are the 20 comorbidities listed by the Government?
Here the 20 comorbidities listed by the government
- Heart failure with hospital admission in the past year
- Post cardiac transplant/Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD)
- Left ventricular systolic dysfunction (LVEF < 40%)
- Moderate or Severe Valvular Heart Disease
- Congenital heart disease with severe PAH or Idiopathic PAH
- Coronary Artery Disease with past CABG/PTCA/ MI and Hypertension/Diabetes on treatment
- Angina and Hypertension/Diabetes treatment
- CT/MRI documented stroke and Hypertension/Diabetes on treatment
- Pulmonary artery hypertension and Hypertension/ Diabetes on treatment
- Diabetes (>10 years or with complication) and Hypertension on treatment
- Kidney/Liver/Hematopoietic stem cell transplant: Recipient/ On wait-list
- End stage Kidney Disease on haemodialysis/ CAPD
- Current prolonged use of oral corticosteroids/ immunosuppressant medications
- Decompensated cirrhosis
- Severe respiratory disease with hospitalisations in last two years/FEVI <50%
- Lymphoma/ Leukaemia/ Myeloma
- Diagnosis of any solid cancer on or after July1, 2020 or currently on any cancer therapy
- Sickle Cell Disease/ Bone marrow failure/Aplastic Anemia/Thalassemia Major
- Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases/ HIV infection
- Persons with disabilities due to Intellectual disabilities/ Muscular Dystrophy/ Acid attack with involvement of respiratory system/Persons with disabilities having high support needs/Multiple disabilities including deaf-blindness.
10) Can we select other location from the current locations?
Yes, this provision is provided while selection the vaccination center. One can select his or her home state or the location he is currently away from his city.
11) How to register on Co-Win portal?
- Visit the CO-Win 2.0 portal by clicking this link.
- Click on the Register yourself button on the top right on desktop site and under the toggle menu on mobile site
- You need to register with your mobile number and verify with the OTP.

- You will be asked for valid ID proof like Aadhaar number, Pan Card Number, Passport number etc

- Choose Vaccine Location: Select nearby Vaccine Center for vaccination

- Confirm Your Slot: Book your slot to Get Vaccine

- When you click on the schedule icon next before delete you will be provided with the center location details and you can choose your center from here. You can also choose dates and click on the “Book” button.
- Once you click on the book button link, an confirmation page will be shown with all the details of your bookings. One can confirm or go back to make the changes and confirm again.
- Once you click on confirm button you will be provided with option to download the information’s of your appointments.
12) Can we reschedule your appointments?
Yes, One can reschedule his appointments if any unavoidable circumstances. He or she need to log in with mobile number and enter OTP. Once you login, click on the edit icon in the action column and make the changes like change of date or even change of location.
13) Can I change the location after booking?
Yes you can even change the location of the vaccination center following the same steps as mentioned above and change the location if the slots are available.
14) How can I find the nearest Vaccination Center to my location?
Visit Co-Win website by clicking here. Scroll down and you will see the map and option to enter your location. Once you enter the location and search it will provide you with list of canters at your nearest location. But for booking your appointment, you need to register by following the steps mentioned in point number 11
15) Any other Apps for Vaccine registration?
As mentioned by the government, One can also register using Aarogya Setu app as well. But we would recommend using the CO-Win 2.0 portal for self registration.
