When you separate leaves from a tree, wrap a cotton cloth on it so it may lose a very little amount of moisture. Keeping in an airtight container may help the leaves to be fresh for 9-10 days. You can also keep the leaves in sun for 2-3 days and then keep it in an airtight container. Keep the container in the fridge and it may also work. You can also keep this container in the freezer and the leaves may be nice for around a month or so.
