Easiest Vanilla Ice-Cream Recipe to Try at Home
1 litre Raw milk
4 tbsp Corn flour
8 tsp Normal sugar
Ice As required
250 ml of fresh cream
2 tsp Sugar powder
2 tsp Vanilla essence
After collecting all ingredients, you have to follow the following procedure and your favorite vanilla ice-cream will be ready. Here is the procedure to follow. Have a look.
First of all, to make vanilla ice cream we will take 1 liter of raw milk. This has got extra Malai or cream. Now we will take 1/2 cup of milk into the bowl and add 2 tbsp of corn flour. Mix it well till no lumps are formed. You can see the milk mixture is smooth.
We will keep that aside and bring the milk to boil using a whisk. We will stir it occasionally while heating it over a medium flame.
Now you can see the milk has come to a boil. We will add around 8 tbsp of sugar and we’ll also add our milk corn flour mixture to it. Stir the milk and mix everything well.
Now we will bring the milk to boil for five minutes. After the five minutes are over, we will switch off the flame. And you will see the perfect consistency of milk for making the ice cream. Our milk mixture is ready now and we will allow it to cool down completely
For whipping cream, we will take a big bowl with ice over it. We will place a small chilled bowl in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
Here I am using a branded fresh cream. We’ll be using the entire packet which is 250 ml. If you do not have this brand cream then you can use any type of fresh dairy cream. Now we will beat the cream for 2 minutes till the volume of the cream becomes double.
Now we will add 2 tbsp of powdered sugar. This is the regular sugar and not the icing sugar. Now we’ll beat the cream for 3 minutes on a high speed.
Well, the consistency is perfect. We do not need heavy Peaks just the nice soft peaks. In a mixing bowl, we will add our cold milk mixture and we’ll also add the whipped cream.
For the vanilla flavor we will add 2 TSP of vanilla essence. Our ice-cream base is ready. Now we will pour our milk cream mixture into an airtight container and freeze it overnight or 12 hours.
