30th of October is celebrated as national candy corn day, National Candy Corn Day is a nonofficial holiday that is enjoyed in the United States each year on just the day before Halloween.
This holiday was organized for lovers of this tri-color treat that is prepared with sugar, corn syrup, and confectioner’s wax. George Renninger, a worker at Wunderle Candy Company in Philadelphia developed it to celebrate what he thought to be the elegance of corn juxtaposed with autumnal pigments. Winter was frigid, shady, and lengthy and the glossy colors of candy would survive for a long time, giving rise to optimism and happiness as well as an explosion of sweetness. These candy corns are famous and said to be specialized confectionery for Halloween as a seasonal sweet.
