Month of February is all about Love. You can literally feel it once you step outside your home. As soon as the month starts every one start making out plans for the D day that is Valentine’s Day. People take a leave from their offices to spend some quality time with their near and dear ones. This week is not only for those who are already in love, but also for those whose have a feeling for other and want express your longstanding love.
Even those who are single start planning the ideas as to how they would be proposing to their loved ones. But before valentine day there are many days which are celebrated. The Valentine’s week starts from Rose Day followed by different days such as Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day, and lastly ends on February 14 with Valentine’s Day.
Rose day marks the starting of this love saga week.
It is celebrated on the February 7 of every Year. On this day, once you step out of your room, you can see vendors selling roses at every hook and Corner of the road. You can buy as many roses as your pocket permits you, and present those to your loved ones. On this roses are sold as fast as hot buns. Now a days it has become trend in colleges to celebrate valentine week.
Every day is celebrated with lots of enthusiasm. Every student takes part actively in this event because no one knows who can gift you a rose. On the last day students pick out names to whom who have to give the rose. It’s a thrilling as well as wonderful feeling to give rose to the people with whom you have hardly interacted.
Types of Roses and its meaning
1. White Roses
White roses symbolizes purity, youthfulness and innocence. They are also called as bridal roses because of their association with young love and eternal loyalty. It also symbolize a new beginning of relationship and everlasting love forever.

2. Pink Roses
Pink roses symbolize gratitude, grace, and joy. A dark pink is a way of saying thank you for showing your appreciation to your loved one, whereas a pale pink symbolizes gentleness.
