Meet Jasleen Bhalla – The Talk of the Town
The Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s audio will not be the caller tune from January 16. Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice in the past few months for a noble initiative, spreading awareness against COVID-19. A social worker named Rakesh has filed a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) the previous week in Delhi High court.
The petitioner contended that Amitabh Bachchan’s voice should be detached. The caller tune enlisted some precautionary measures in avoiding contracting coronavirus and disseminates the information about the disease. People were told to wash their hand, stay at their homes and carry sanitizers when we have any emergency to go out.
The hearing of the case was earlier to be on 18 January but the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi wanted people to be aware of about the vaccination, the caller tune would now be changed by a female voice artist. The mains reasons for this dispute were that Amitabh Bachchan’s family members, i.e his son Abhishek Bachchan, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya, his grand-daughter Aradhya, and he were reported positive, so when he could not protect his family and take proper precautions, his voice should be removed from the caller tune.
Secondly, the government of India is paying high fees to Amitabh Bachchan for his audio whereas there are many other corona warriors and social workers who are interested to work on this cause for free or in low payments. Not only this, but Amitabh Bachchan is also not serving the country as a social worker.
The petitioner himself has done social services by helping the poor during this pandemic and transported some needy material like food and drinks to needy people.
New Voice For Spreading Awareness about COVID 19 Vaccination Drive
According to the health ministry, a female would replace him. The female is given the charge of spreading awareness about the COVID 19 vaccination drive. The famous voice artist named Jasleen Bhalla would be now the new voice for the covid caller tune. Her audio will alert people regarding the infection, not to behave rudely with them and discriminate with the COVID patients.
She will also clear the rumours regarding the vaccination. The vaccination would be first given to the frontline COVID warriors including solders, doctors, policemen and business men. The vaccine is claimed to be made in India, so it’s must to spread awareness regarding this and it’s was the need of the moment to change the caller tune.
Jasleen Bhalla has given her audio in the early days (March and April) as well, but it was later changed to Amitabh Bachchan’s voice. She had no idea that one day her audio would be heard by people all over the country.
The message was “The whole nation is fighting today with the coronavirus (COVID-19). However remember that we have to fight sickness, not the sick. Do not discriminate about them”.
It is now more important to drill the message into people’s minds. So, the heavy manly voice is being replaced soon with an interactive female voice.
Who is Jasleen Bhalla
Jasleen Bhalla a lady who is much more like a voice actor has spent most of her time during the lockdown doing household chores, completing assignments and learning to cook. She also lost work due to pandemic but she feels blessed for being safe and able to earn her daily bread and meet the needs of the family.

According to Jasleen we are paying for whatever we have done to the mother earth and all this would soon get over by making some more changes in our lifestyle. The public reaction towards this news can be seen clearly on Twitter.
In earlier days Amitabh Bachchan has annoyed his fans through his tweets regarding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, drugs case in Bollywood, etc. Many people have post hatred tweets regarding his silence to many issues in the Bollywood. People expect him to give his strong opinion regarding such issues, even about his wife’s issue Jaya Bachchan in the parliament.
Now after the government of India’s decision to drop Amitabh Bachchan’s voice people are happy and contented. People question regarding giving such a big responsibility to a person who is not a social worker. They don’t want to hear his voice for 30 seconds in caller tune. So from 16 January people will get hear Jasleen Bhalla voice in place of Amitabh Bachchan’s voice.
Amitabh Bachchan has not yet tweeted anything about the replacement of his voice as a caller tune. Such a response from the audience, his fans would surely be unaccepted and he would reply on this. People are looking forward to it.
